Christa Engel (she/her) has nearly two year’s experience with CultureAlly trainings and has a Master’s in Education. She is passionate about DEI and has an extensive background as an adult educator and crafting inclusive trainings. She brings her expertise in identifying gaps in organizational competencies and staff training with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion-related concepts and principles in collaboration with first voice facilitators to deliver unique and engaging learning experiences.

Description

This interactive session is designed to help staff and leaders navigate conflict and challenging conversations through a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) lens. Participants will explore how unconscious bias, power dynamics, and social identity shape workplace conflict, and learn inclusive strategies for de-escalation and dialogue. The session emphasizes accountability over defensiveness, offering practical tools to respond to harm, rebuild trust, and foster psychological safety. This training supports both individual and organizational growth in building more inclusive and resilient teams.
