Individually Designed Education to Access Learning (IDEAL)
IDEAL is designed for elementary school-aged students with global impairments, this classroom is rich in resources including an emphasis on assistive technology and augmentative communication devices, symbols, photos, single switches, switch accessed toys, music and computers. Direct hands-on input is required for all activities, including sensory-motor integration, physical therapy, feeding and language development. The experienced staff has strong educational and therapeutic backgrounds. A full-time nurse is responsible for supporting the complex medical needs of the students.
