Program for Academic and Life Skills - PALS – Levels I & II
PALS is designed for middle school-aged students with autism and related disorders. Students in these programs have atypical social, cognitive and/or language delays. PALS strengthens academic, social, language and life skills to promote independence and participation in the community. PALS provides highly structured environments with consistent routines utilizing an eclectic approach consisting of ABA, TEACCH strategies, language and picture communication systems and discrete trial teaching. Two program levels are available to accommodate the intensity and skill level of the individual.
